The No. 3 Scalpel Handle is the industry standard for standard surgical procedures.
In contrast the Beaver Blade Handle is often used for finer more delicate surgery, e.g. ophthalmic surgery or where there is restricted access to where a scalpel is needed, e.g. Meniscus surgery.
The No.3 Scalpel Handle has a mm/cm scale along it and has been designed so that it can also act as a basic periosteal elevator.
We also offer a No. 4 scalpel handle and can source any of the standard handle sizes if needed.

We offer a selection of Swann Morton blades for the Scalpel Handles but we have access to the entire Swann Morton range so if you need anything else just let us know.
